Qualified Early Years Educators

We have a team of accomplished teachers, who create an engaging and enjoyable learning experience.

Our certification requirements are CACHE level 5 for Managers and CACHE level 3 for Teachers at a minimum.

Many of our teachers also have degrees in Education and Teaching as well as Social Sciences and the Arts.

We also offer approximately 40 hours per year of Continuous Professional Development training for staff at every level.

Active Learning, Enabling Environments

We prioritise active learning, where children engage with materials and activities to solidify their understanding.

We believe that when children are moving and physically and mentally engaging, they develop a deeper understanding of key concepts.

Children thrive in stimulating environments where they can connect with others and explore their ideas.

Our son attends this nursery and honestly loves being there! It's quite daunting taking your baby to nursery for the first time but all the staff at the nursery including Miss G, Corinne and Colleen have been fantastic at looking after my son, and making me feel at ease. They use an app so you are updated on your child's news for the day which I love! There's a nice atmosphere in this nursery, I'd highly recommend!

We recently visited several nurseries in the Business Bay and Downtown area, to select the first nursery for our 2-year-old son.All of us instantly liked the Step By Step Nursery in Jumeirah and so the decision came very easily for us all.We especially liked the spacious, light and perfectly clean and organised rooms with a lot of different activities, the large and well set-up outdoors area (with no strict limit on how much time the children can spend there per day), the calm and welcoming atmosphere and such a lovely staff.Also the communication with the nursery was very easy and pleasant and I didn't feel at all like a marketing-target, but like a valued parent of a valued little son, and all my (many) questions were answered clearly and quickly. Especially lovely was seeing all the children communicating with the staff so freely and enjoying their little activities in a safe and trusted environment.By now my son has been attending the nursery for a couple of weeks and literally the only hardship for him has been leaving mommy in the mornings. Besides that he always says how he likes the teachers and the other children, keeps telling me about all the activities he's done, is singing songs that I haven't taught him and in general seems very happy and excited about going to the nursery. He used to cling on me quite a lot in the mornings and cry about me leaving even before we got there, but now he just says that I could stay with him, but then already calls "bye mommy" and runs to his teachers.I also really appreciate that every day when I go to pick him up, he's in clean clothes with the change ones packed with his bag, his utensils have been washed, he himself looks clean and happy and all his things are nicely in his bag. The few times that he has lost or forgotten something, I've always gotten it back the next day, so everything in the nursery just seems organised and taken-care of.So to end my somewhat long, but sincere review, I would just like to say that as a family we are really happy for having chosen Step by Step Nursery - Jumeirah, truly appreciate it and can definitely proudly recommend it to other families as well.

Excellent Team!I just wanted to take a moment to express my heartfelt gratitude for the wonderful care and support you’ve shown my twin boys during their settling-in period. Starting nursery can be such a big step, especially with twins, but your patience, kindness, and attention have made the transition so much easier for them (and us as parents!).It’s been lovely to see how happy and comfortable they are becoming in your care. Step By Step Nursery in Jumeirah is an outstanding facility with a warm, welcoming atmosphere. The staff are caring, attentive, and focused on each child's development. I am so incredibly happy with Step by Step nursery. Although she is still new, she already feels so welcome and comfortable thanks to the wonderful staff. The teachers have been incredibly kind, attentive, and welcoming, making her transition a smooth and happy one. It’s been heartwarming to see her not only build strong bonds with her teachers but also start making new friends.One of the things I’m most grateful for is the opportunity she now has to play outside and explore the outdoors. Coming from a very cold country, we didn’t have many opportunities for her to enjoy outdoor play in warm weather—water play, running around, and exploring nature have been such a joy for her. I truly feel that this nursery is a perfect place for her to learn, grow, and have fun!I’m so glad we chose this nursery for our daughter. The environment is nurturing and supportive, and I can already see the positive impact it’s having on her development and happiness.

Step by Step Jumeirah has definitely been a home away from home for our little one. Having relocated to Dubai recently, finding a school that would best suit our daughter was nerve racking, but the moment we walked through the doors, we knew it would be a perfect fit. The school boasts of a clean and friendly environment, with top tier staff. Every child, no matter color or religion, is loved, nurtured and welcomed 😊The curriculum encourages children to explore their creative side, without forcing strict learning plans and this increases child independence and confidence!Step by Step is perfect for early childhood development!!! The name definitely speaks for itself😊😊😊

Working at Step-by-Step Nursery has been a fantastic experience for me as an early years educator. This place truly provides a supportive environment to learn and grow. The approach to teaching here is amazing – I feel like I’ve developed so much in my role. Ms Jade, in particular, deserves a special mention. She’s an outstanding trainer, always delivering engaging and interactive sessions that make learning so effective ⭐️Our weekly CPD trainings are a highlight for all of us, as they help us improve and learn new techniques. I couldn’t be happier with the support and opportunities for growth at this nursery! ✨❤️

This is the nursery our son attends and I would definitely recommend it to everyone. Especially Ms. Nicole has been very helpful during our son's acclimatization process, everyone from the management team to all the staff is very professional and friendly. They understand family psychology very well and guide us correctly. My wife and I were worried at first, but from the first day we realized that we were in the right place. It was one of the best decisions we made.

Our premises are continuously monitored by a state-of-the-art CCTV system with a direct feed from the common areas into the Nursery Manager’s office.

Accessibility

Visitors can only gain access to the nursery via a secure entry system. Before being granted access, credentials are checked and government issued identification documents are requested.

Fire Safety

We have installed advanced fire alarm systems and conduct regular fire drills to prepare our staff and children for emergencies.

First Aid

All staff are Paediatric First Aid trained and are regularly updated on the current procedures for handling incidents and injuries.
